Second Life y ahora Home, una revolución
Son muchos los medios que no paran de hablar de Second Life y las muchas empresas, sobretodo en Estados Unidos que están creando sus espacios virtuales.
Nuestra empresa, ya está recibiendo clientes interesados en el desarrollo de espacios en Second Life, y realmente me ha dado que pensar, ya que en el tiempo que llevamos investigando en el tema, hemos podido constatar que ya no es un fenómeno, sino toda una realidad.
En SL, se están moviendo cada día más de 1,5 millones de dólares, y creciendo día a día con más de 4 millones de usuarios registrados.
Y si SONY, ha decidido crear su propio sistema de mundo virtual (HOME), es que seguro que se habrán dedicado a investigar en que esto es una realidad que se universalizará en los próximos meses a toda la comunidad ONLINE.
¿Tardará Google mucho tiempo en comprar SL o crear su mundo virtual?

PSHOME is a virtual world built to mimic the traditional user interface for consoles and pc’s. Instead of simply have a system simply being governed in text and numbers you will experience the richness of gaming in 3d. To the first time viewer of the PSHOME people will see nothing then a sim mmorpg, however, that is rather dull in comparison. A sim mmorpg isn’t going to appeal to every gamer on the psn so Sony introduced elements into PSH that will enthraul the masses.
Simple things like watching full movies in a virtual theater with friends from all over the world can’t be done anywhere else. Experiences like this which are truly one of a kind is what makes the PSH so unique. The true forfront of this idea however is the integration of a myspace, youtube-esqe community. 100′s of millions of users long onto these sites every day to communicate and share their ideas with friends. PSH takes these great internet phenomenon smashes them together, and presents it in a new 3d model. What does something like that mean to the normal gamer. Not much on the outside, but something huge underneath. Commerce is driven my demand, and offering something never before seen will bring in the people to drive that demand. With a larger install base developers all over the world will be crawling all over each other to take a bite of the profit.
Congreso OJO Buscador
Después de dos días de trabajo muy duros, visitando clientes en Madrid, nos hemos tomado un tiempo para nuestro formación y hacer contactos.
Hoy me encuentro en el Congreso de Ojo Buscador, en el que el nivel de calidad de los ponentes es realmente bueno. Hacía falta un congreso profesional para que las empresas proveedoras y los expertos se unan, y compartan experiencias y visiones.
